September 2, 2015 In preparation for the November 6, 2015 release of his new album The Zombie Dinosaur LP, nerdcore rapper MC LARS is premiering his new video"Triforce" with Substream Magazine. Filmed while he was on tour in Fall 2014 with peers MC Chris and Spose, scenes from the video were culled from footage showing the highs and lows of touring. "It's one of my favorite videos so far because it really shows the highs and lows of being on the road. The fans wearing costumes all came dressed up for mc chris's Halloween contest and they were awesome and kind to pose for us."

In addition, MC Lars is also announcing his tour this fall in support of The Zombie Dinosaur LP.  Kicking off in early October in Atlanta, GA and circling around the continent with dates in Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Des Moines and Salt Lake City (with more dates to be added), the tour serves as an appropriate backdrop to the song "Triforce" as well.  "'Triforce' uses the themes of "power, wisdom and courage" from the Legend of Zelda to talk about all of the things I've gone through and realized over the past few years as an artist," MC Lars explains. "Each verse is about checking in with a part of my life I don't think about much: my first love, my self-destructive twenties and my hopes and dreams for my early 30s. I wanted to have a video that showed 'motion without motion'; that is to say, telling a story of cha sing your dream on the road through a montage of tour footage. The movie Boyhood was a big inspiration cinematically." Warped tourmates Koo Koo Kanga Roo will be supporting MC Lars (tour dates below).

Executive produced by  Adam F. Goldberg, creator of hit ABC TV show The GoldbergsThe Zombie Dinosaur LP is an all-star affair, featuring guest appearances by Watsky, Kool KeithSpose, Roger Lima of Less than Jake, STZA Crack of Leftöver Crack and  Brian Mazzaferriof I Fight Dragons. "Goldberg came into the mix via Kickstarter," Lars explains, referencing his super-successful crowdfunding campaign to launch this album. "He hit me up to tell me he had been a fan for a while and that he wanted to help me out with this album. He's is a big supporter of the indie nerd music world in general. What a guy."  Zombie Dinosaurwas produced by Lars himself, with help from old producer friends  Jim Greer (Foster the People, Hieroglyphics, Macy Gray) and Damondrick ‘D.J.’ Jack (K Flay, Jidenna).
