Last year's GARY CLARK JR: LIVE also continues to sell consistently as a result of the success of his studio efforts and has already surpassed the quarter million mark and continues to gather a newfound momentum. The Story of Sonny Boy Slim's first single "The Healing," is also garnering radio play across multiple radio formats including Alternative.  View the official video for "The Healing" (directed by Gaston Jouany) below:

Also, due to high demand Clark has added a second show at New York's Terminal 5 on October 30th, following the immediate sell-out of his October 28th show. Tickets are on sale now. Clark's fall headlining tour, which immediately follows the current tour with Foo Fighters, is now nearly sold out six months in advance. Clark's multiple shows in London, Amsterdam, Paris and Germany also sold out as soon as the on-sales were announced. All tour dates are listed below.

Clark's self-produced second album for Warner Bros. Records, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim is out and available now. Click here for a view into The Story of Sonny Boy Slim. Just released on Sep 11th, the album is already earning glowing critical praise:

"On 'The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim,' he's got a firm handle on the narratives he wants to unfurl, the roles he wants to embody and the sounds he wants to play up. He makes primal concerns seem at once colossal, socially incisive and personal, so that it hardly matters where autobiography ends and invention begins. All this blues-bending expansion is no accident. Clark elected to produce himself this time, holing up in a hometown studio so that he could push his evolution forward on his own thrilling terms." - NPR.

"It's no mean feat referring to the past without skidding into a retro rut. But Gary Clark Jr.'s new album offers a master class in the art. [With] The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim Clark cast that sound in a more broad way and modern context. Another fine effort." - New York Daily News (4 Stars out of 5).
