August 1, 2015 — Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and virtuoso guitarist Gary Clark Jr. will release his second full-length studio album, entitled The Story of Sonny Boy Slim, on September 11, 2015 via Warner Bros. Records. It will be available for pre-order from participating digital retailers beginning on July 30, 2015. The Story of Sonny Boy Slim was written, produced, arranged by Clark, who also plays most of the instruments, with assistance from his long-time live soundman, Bharath "Cheex" Ramanat and Jason Sciba. Backing vocals are provided by his sisters Shawn and Savannah Clark. The album was recorded by Ramanath and Sciba.

The direction of The Story of Sonny Boy Slim takes Clark even further into his diverse musical roots.
Clark has just completed a sold-out European tour, followed by a series of fall shows with Foo Fighters in September and October. U.S headline dates have just been confirmed and will begin Oct 31 in Boston and wind up in Portland, OR, on April 13. All confirmed tour dates are listed below.
