The Vamps’ 12-city U.S. tour will kick off July 21, 2015t at House Of Blues in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), and wrap up 18 days later at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on August 8, 2015. (Please see complete tour itinerary below.) Tickets will go on sale May 16, 2015. All shows are all ages.
The upcoming tour comes in the wake of The Vamps’ current sold-out UK and European tour where they played to packed venues including two nights at London’s 02 Arena (where they opened up for Taylor Swift in 2013!). This will also mark The Vamps’ first time touring back in the U.S. since their two-month North American premiere on Austin Mahone’s Secret Tour last summer, which co-starred Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony.
The day before they embarked on the tour, the Vamps performed in New York on NBC’s Today Show. Later on, in support of the release of their debut album in November, the Vamps performing “Somebody To You” with Demi Lovato on NBC Universal’s Ellen show, and later performed at Nickelodeon’s 6th annual TeenNick HALO Awards, hosted by HALO Awards creator Nick Cannon.
The Vamps were first introduced to U.S. audiences on Somebody To You, their 4-song debut EP that entered the Billboard 200 albums chart at #10 in the summer 2014. The EP picked up the highest first week sales of any EP in the history of young women’s global retailer Claire’s (with 3,500 stores in 47 countries worldwide).
In addition to being selected as an “Artist to Watch” by MTV, The Vamps – singer Bradley Will Simpson, guitarist James McVey, drummer Tristan Evans, and bassist Connor Ball were named a Radio Disney “Next Big Thing” artist, were voted by fans to be part of LIFT, the influential emerging artists program established by #1 music destination VEVO, and were also recently nominated for “Best Collaboration” for their hit “Somebody to You (featuring Demi Lovato)” at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards. The Vamps first arrived in the U.S. in February 2014, and had their debut show at New York’s Gramercy Theater (tickets sold-out in 5 minutes!).
