Ellie Goulding's Single "Love Me Like You Do" Hits #1 On iTunes Singles Chart



February 20, 2015 — SANTA MONICA, CA - Multi-platinum Cherrytree/ Interscope recording artist Ellie Goulding’s new single, “Love Me Like You Do” has rocketed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles chart (smarturl.it/LoveMeLikeYouDo) in over 60 countries. The track has also broken the record for the most-streamed song in one week on Spotify’s worldwide chart. The song has been streamed over 15.6 million times for the week of February 9th - 15th.  “Love Me Like You Do” hit the top spot on Hype Machine, as well as #1 on Spotify’s Viral chart and Billboard’s Twitter chart. Having already sold half a million downloads, “Love Me Like You Do” marks Goulding’s fastest entry into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, climbing to No. 6 just six weeks after its release by Cherrytree / Republic /Interscope Records. It is at No. 5 on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart.

Love Me Like You Do,” produced by Max Martin, was written for Universal Pictures and Focus Features’ film FIFTY SHADES OF GREYand is featured on the soundtrack. The video, which is cut with previously unseen clips from the movie, has racked up over 61million views on Vevo. Watch it below:
