Boston Calling Adds ILoveMaILoveMakonnen to Lineup and Announces Lineup For May 23 & 24, 2015



February 19, 2015 (BOSTON, MA) - Boston Calling reveals its schedule of performances for Saturday and Sunday May 23 and 24, 2015.  My Morning Jacket will headline on Saturday and Pixies will headline on Sunday May 24th. The festival also announces Grammy nominee and hip-hop newcomer ILoveMakonnen will replace Jungle on the lineup due to a conflict in the band’s schedule. Saturday and Sunday Single Day Tickets are available online tomorrow, Friday, February 20, 2015 at 12pm EST at BostonCalling.com. All performance times will be revealed at a later date. Boston Calling is held at Boston’s City Hall Plaza [One City Hall Square, Boston, Massachusetts] this Memorial Day Weekend, May 22, 23 and 24, 2015.

Following Friday night’s performances with BeckTame Impala and Sharon Van Etten, Saturday and Sunday will each feature 10 performances ranging from Southern rock to hip-hop to Swedish pop. My Morning Jacket and Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals will be among Saturday May 23rd’s highlights while Pixies and Tenacious D will close out the festival on Sunday May 24th.

Boston Calling is excited to add ILoveMakonnen to the Sunday lineup; the hip-hop singer takes Jungle’s place after the band came across a scheduling conflict. With his hit song “Tuesday,” in collaboration with Drake, and his self-branded version of “Bedroom Pop”, ILoveMakonnen has topped charts, picked up a Grammy nomination for best rap song and wracked up over 56 million YouTube views. His upcoming LP will see collaborations with Diplo, Skrillex, Snoop Dogg, Drake and Rihanna.

Ticket Information: Tickets are available for purchase online tomorrow at 12pm EST at BostonCalling.com. Single Day Tickets for Saturday and Sunday are $85 for General Admission and $185 for VIP. Two-Day, Saturday/Sunday General Admission Tickets are $135 and Two-Day, Saturday/Sunday VIP Tickets are $350.  Single Day Tickets for Friday are $50 for General Admission and $150 for VIP. General Admission Three-Day passes and VIP Three-Day passes are also still available for $175 and $375, respectively.

City Hall Plaza is located at One City Hall Square in downtown Boston. The festival is accessible via the city’s T, at the Park Street stop on the Red Line, the State Street stop on the Orange or Blue line and the Haymarket stop on the Orange or Green line. The 92 and 93 buses also stop outside of City Hall Plaza on Congress Street.
